The couple has worked really hard at keeping everything secret (from where their property is to where the coins are being stored) - they don't want people "prospecting" on their property looking for more. They say that they're planning to donate some of the profits to charity.
What would you do if you stumbled upon a treasure like this? I'm sure all of us have daydreamed about Publisher's Clearinghouse knocking on our door with a big check. Probably part of our imaginary distribution list includes giving to church and other charities. But how much of it should we give? 10%? 20%? 50%? More? How much does God want? How much does God need?
Since we'll probably never be in this kind of situation, we may feel off the hook... but what about the income that we actually have? Does God expect a certain amount of that? What if I told you no?
