Being a Christian doesn't protect us from difficulties and tragedies to impact our lives. Sometimes our suffering can last for months, years, or even decades. It truly feels like wandering through the desert in search of water.
The Israelites spent 40 in the Sinai wilderness before God led them into the Promised Land. I'm sure there were plenty of times when they wondered what God was up to and when they would get to the land flowing with milk and honey that was their future home.
This Sunday, February 10th, we'll be preparing to dive into our reading of the books of Joshua - Kings using the volume IMMERSE: KINGDOMS by talking about lessons learned in the wilderness. I hope you'll be able to join us.
IMMERSE: KINGDOMS

As we did this past Fall while reading through Immerse: Beginnings, small groups will meet to discuss what we've read in a "book club" format and the sermons will be based on a portion from the previous week's readings.
Copies of Immerse: Kingdoms are available at the church for a $5 donation. You can also purchase e-reader versions on Amazon for $10. There is also a free audio podcast - just search for "Immerse: Kingdoms" and you can listen to the readings as you read along or while doing other activities.
